While completing his residency Dr Gonzalez observed that a new major category in patient management had arisen - ' Drug Addiction'. This addiction was not limited to physician prescribed medications but also addiction to illegal drugs. At that time no successful program, particularly for 'Opiate Addiction ' was readily available except in Israel. Dr. Luna Gonzales decided to remedy that hiatus in his medical education.
In 1994 Dr Luna accepted the position of General Manager of The Milne Ongley Institute, which has allowed him to work with Dr Milne in the field of Orthopedic Medicine. |
